Our first #SIPATHON
#LATAMSIPATHON 2025
On March 29th, 40+ participants and volunteers contributed to a hands-on, impact-driven day. This edition focused on an urgent challenge: Helping Latin American newcomers access the job market in Canada. Finding employment in a new country is tough, but through collective intelligence, we explored ways to make the transition smoother, fairer, and
more inclusive.

A huge thank you to our sponsors and partners in this adventure that is just starting: Alpfa Toronto, Hispanotech.ca, HR Latin Hub, innon, Wick’d Agility, and eCampusOntario

Yu-Ju | Volunteer
“Being a volunteer within the SIP program allowed me to tangibly participate in understanding and addressing a community challenge that may have larger knock-on effects on people and the community. I would
recommend this to anyone who wants to
contribute to a sustainable cause and help others, or to do something that is not their daily work routine and it will feel good in the end.”

Daniela | Community
“We (N2N) are immensely grateful for the outstanding support provided by the SIP team. The dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence they have shown throughout the time of the project have significantly impacted our organization and the community we serve.”

Swaraj | Volunteer
“I would like to thank our expert facilitators in navigating us and developing a solution for real-world problems faced by our community
garden. Listening to experts in the field,
conducting user interviews was a wholesome experience. This empowering program has profoundly shaped my journey towards
cultivating a sustainable future for all.”
